For Alba Navarro Hierro Jewelry is her self-expression tool. It is her way of communicating. It's where she can be free. Her jewelry is the result of a long creative process influenced by everything that surrounds her, from everyday life to personal experiences. A subway trip, strange lighting coming through her window, encounters with other artists, everything inspires her. She enjoys breaking down concepts until they become minimalist pieces with a strong meaning. Her studio is where she can express herself with her own voice. It is her favorite place, her playground, her corner of the world where she can break the rules. She is also a violinist previously dedicated to interdisciplinary show production. She has always lived surrounded by art and artists. For Alba art is a lifestyle with everything having the potential to be art.

CONCEPT

ANH Jewelry is a sustainable jewelry brand by independent designer Alba Navarro Hierro, created halfway between Barcelona and New York. The company was founded in 2016 in Brooklyn, where the artist has her studio. She personalizes every order on demand. All the pieces are handmade with recycled metals in the studio, from the beginning of the creation process to the packaging. Every piece is delivered with an illustrated postcard made by an artist. The whole process is very personalized and handcrafted.

The artist controls the whole artistic process. The brand is an interdisciplinary project where different arts are mixed: creation of the jewelry, the brand’s creative direction and collaboration with New York artists for styling, photography and modeling.

ANH Jewelry is committed to improve the state of women worldwide, therefore they donate $5 to the UN WOMEN for every piece sold.
